Why it helps
- Routes new leads between forms, inboxes and CRM.
- Uses AI to sort requests or summarise notes.
- Leads and updates move between systems with fewer manual hand-offs, so your team can respond sooner.
- Clear alerts keep exceptions visible instead of hiding them in automation.
Automate a process you can explain
n8n connects steps in a workflow, such as receiving an enquiry, checking its fields and sending it to a CRM. We first describe the manual process and its exceptions. That way we can automate part of the process without burying vague business rules inside the configuration.
Design for retries and incomplete data
A form can arrive twice and an external service can be unavailable. We test those cases alongside the successful run. The workflow needs a way to avoid duplicate records, show a failed step and let the responsible person recover the work without losing the original request.
Make ownership part of the automation
We document the trigger, connected accounts and expected output, then agree who receives an alert when the workflow needs attention. The handover includes a representative test and the recovery steps. Time saved should come with enough visibility to trust what happens in the background.
