Why it helps

  • Segments contacts for more relevant email.
  • Sends timely messages after customer actions.
  • Timely, relevant emails can bring past leads back and give existing customers a reason to return.
  • Email results show which segments and messages lead to action.

Build a sequence around a real relationship

Email works best when the message matches what someone asked for or did. We use Mailchimp to plan newsletters and follow-up sequences around those moments. Every message in the sequence, from the welcome onwards, should have a reason to arrive.

Define who enters and who leaves

Before building an automated sequence, we agree its audience, trigger and exit conditions. We check subscription status, the destination links and how the emails render on small screens. A test contact should receive the right messages without continuing after the intended action is complete.

Learn beyond the open rate

We review delivery, clicks, unsubscribes and replies together. Email measurement has limits, so a single metric should not drive the whole content plan. The next iteration improves the timing, subject and offer while respecting the audience’s reason for subscribing.
