Logo design.

A distinctive logo, refined for the places your business needs to be recognised.

A designer draws a coral emblem and checks it on a small card and a tote bag.

Start with the name and the idea behind it.

A logo that looks good on a big screen can still fail on a business card or an app icon. We explore how the name, shape and proportions express the business, then test the chosen mark at the sizes where people will see it.

What we can build together.

The final deliverables, review rounds and schedule are agreed around your brief.

Logo concepts

Judge the mark in real use.

Compare the same applications

Review each direction on the same set of materials: a website header, a small social avatar, a document and any important physical surface. That makes the comparison fairer than judging one concept on an elaborate mockup and another as a plain symbol.

Check the smallest important size

A mark may need a compact variant or simpler details to stay legible in a small space. Test one-colour and reversed uses as well as the primary colour version. The chosen direction should still feel related across these variations, with rules that explain when each one is appropriate.

Know what belongs in the handover

Ask for the agreed editable vector artwork and everyday exports, with sensible file names and basic usage guidance. Keep logo design, a full identity system and legal registration distinct in the brief. The examples in the brandbook library show how a logo can later extend into a wider set of applications.

From brief to handover.

  1. Understand the business

Discuss what needs to be recognised and gather examples of the real applications.

  2. Choose a direction

Review concepts in context, then refine the selected mark through the agreed rounds.

  3. Test and hand over

Check the logo on light and dark backgrounds, at small sizes and across priority materials.

your questions.

Get in touch
Can you redesign an existing logo?

Yes. We can preserve recognisable elements while addressing issues in proportions, legibility or reproduction.

Does the service include a full brandbook?

A logo package includes the agreed usage basics. A complete brandbook adds the broader colour, typography, voice and application system.

Is trademark registration included?

Registration and legal clearance are separate from design. We can prepare the agreed artwork for your legal adviser or registration process.
