Gemini 4 Argon: test the work.

Google, ChatGPT or Claude? The 3tf approach to evaluating Gemini 4 Argon on landing pages, lead handovers and website fixes before switching tools.

Google building beside a Google Gemini 4 Argon card listing three tests: landing page, lead handover and website fix, under the editorial question: Google beats ChatGPT and Claude?

The idea in brief

Judge the finished task, including human review and correction time. A launch announcement is a reason to test, not a universal result.

A new contender for your next evaluation

Google opened broader access to Gemini 4 Argon on 13 October 2026. Its announcement lists the paid Gemini API, the Gemini app and AI Mode for Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers, and Antigravity for Ultra subscribers. Google also reports strong benchmark results. That is a reason to evaluate the model, not evidence that every business should replace its current tools. Read Google's announcement.

Has Google beaten ChatGPT and Claude? The useful answer depends on the work. A launch announcement cannot settle which tool will understand your customer brief, respect your requirements and leave your team with the least correction work. We have not run a controlled comparison of these products at 3tf.

The 3tf take: measure the finished work

We would evaluate an AI tool at the point where a person accepts its output. An impressive first draft is only part of the job. Review time, missed requirements and the cost of correcting mistakes belong in the decision.

For a business in Dubai, elsewhere in the GCC or abroad, we would propose a small evaluation using work the team actually understands. Keep the same brief, inputs, time allowance and acceptance criteria for each tool. Record the product, model and date so a later update does not make the comparison impossible to interpret.

Three tasks worth putting on the test sheet

A campaign landing page. Supply an approved offer, audience and list of claims that may be used. Ask each tool to produce the page structure and copy. A human reviewer checks whether the message is clear, the offer is accurate and the mobile layout supports the intended action. An invented customer result is a failure, however polished the wording looks.

A lead handover. Use synthetic enquiry records and a defined CRM field list. Ask for a structured summary, missing information and the next action. Check every field against the original record. The goal is a reliable handover; no messages should be sent during the evaluation.

A contained website fix. Choose a reproducible layout defect in a staging copy. Provide the same instructions and existing checks. Review the resulting change, test the affected interaction and look for regressions. Count the time a developer spends reaching an acceptable result, including unsuccessful attempts.

Decide what would justify switching

Before the trial, write down the current baseline: time per completed task, common errors and review effort. Repeat each task with several representative inputs. One unusually good answer should not decide a subscription or a delivery process. Assign a named reviewer and stop any test that invents evidence, loses a required field or changes an unrelated interaction.

We would consider adopting a new tool for a specific workflow when it consistently meets the agreed quality threshold and reduces total effort. It is also reasonable to keep different tools for different jobs. This is a proposed 3tf evaluation method, not a claim about results we have already achieved.

Check access and data handling

Confirm the product is available to your account in the UAE or wherever you operate, and that your plan includes the required features. Review the applicable data terms before supplying customer material. API access, a consumer subscription and an enterprise arrangement should be checked separately.

The cover asks a competitive question. This article does not declare a universal winner. The result that matters is the one your team can reproduce on its own work.
