# BOXL: a complete ecosystem for storage and moving.

Our website, CRM and brandbook foundation for storage and moving partners: local adaptation, demand research and lead generation through Google Ads and Meta.

The idea in brief

We adapt BOXL to your business or connect our CRM to your existing website after an audit and preparation. We research demand before planning campaigns in your chosen geography and language.

## A complete ecosystem for a local storage and moving business

A customer finds your company, explores the service and requests a quote. Your team receives the enquiry, follows up and turns it into a booking. The website, brand and CRM need to support that same journey.

My team at 3tf created BOXL as our own digital foundation for this process: **a storage and moving website, a demo CRM and a complete brandbook.** We designed the customer experience and the team’s workflow together, so another operator can see what we can adapt before commissioning a project.

We are inviting partners in self-storage, storage with collection and delivery, and moving to discuss a local version. We can adapt BOXL to their business or connect our CRM to their existing website after the necessary preparation. We can then plan and run lead generation through Google Ads, Meta and other suitable channels, starting with research into demand.

## A website and CRM designed to work together

The BOXL website explains storage, collection, return delivery and moving services. Service pages, location information, a storage-size planner and enquiry routes help visitors understand the offer and take the next step.

The CRM demonstrates what happens after that first contact: customer details, assessment, quotations, follow-up, bookings and the operational work behind them. It also shows storage availability, rentals, warehouse tasks, transport, item inventory, invoices and returns.

For a partner’s live setup, we connect the website enquiry routes to the CRM, agree which details to collect and assign responsibility for the next step. A moving enquiry may need dates, addresses, access details and an inventory. A storage enquiry may need space, duration, collection and access requirements.

This connection matters because advertising creates opportunities that someone still has to handle. The team needs to know where an enquiry came from, what the customer needs, who is responding and whether the quote became a booking.

The BOXL website is the starting point for a partner’s local adaptation. Warehouse imagery shown here is brand concept imagery.

## A CRM configured around your team

We agree the stages, fields, permissions and handovers around your actual business. Owners, sales managers, warehouse staff and customer-service teams need different views of the same customer journey.

We use competitive intelligence and public competitor research to understand the market, then modern technology and appropriate integrations to implement the agreed workflow. Specific services, specialist processes and existing software are part of the initial scope. The same approach can be used to adapt a CRM for a company in another industry.

### What the public demo shows

**The public BOXL CRM is a demo with fictional records and amounts.** It saves changes in the visitor’s browser and does not send real messages or process payments. A live shared workspace, website connection, permissions and integrations are configured separately for each partner.

The demo lets you explore how sales and operations can work together. Sample figures are not business results.

## A brandbook that connects the whole experience

We developed the BOXL identity around the stacked-box symbol, wordmark and a focused colour system. Green, ink, sage and light backgrounds give the website and supporting materials a consistent appearance.

The brandbook covers logo versions, clear space, colour, typography and applications. Sora is used for headlines, Archivo for reading and IBM Plex Mono for operational details. The application studies show how the identity can work on signage, vehicles, workwear and everyday documents.

For a partner, we can use an established identity or develop a new logo, palette and brand guidelines as part of the project. The aim is a recognisable business from the first advertisement to the website, quote and customer communication.

## We check demand before we plan the campaigns

We begin with marketing research in the geography and language the partner wants to serve. What are people searching for? Which services do competitors offer? How do they present pricing, access, collection and availability? Where does the partner have a credible advantage?

We also review the business itself: service area, capacity, customer profile, average job value, response times and current enquiry sources. Demand only helps if the company can fulfil the services it advertises.

The research informs the proposal: which services and locations to prioritise, which pages to prepare, which channels to test and what budget and measurement the test needs. If demand or the offer does not support a particular direction, we explain the findings and adjust the plan before launch.

## Two ways to work with us

### Adapt BOXL to your business

If your website is outdated, difficult to use or missing entirely, and you do not have a suitable CRM, we can provide our foundation and adapt it. We prepare the site around your services, locations, language, currency, contact details and brand, then configure the CRM and the connection between them.

If you offer something specific—business storage, specialist removals, collection services or a different rental process—we scope the necessary pages, forms and workflows. The product should reflect what your company can deliver.

### Keep your website and connect our CRM

If you want to keep your existing website or prefer its design, we can assess it and plan a CRM connection. We first review the mobile experience, speed, service information, enquiry forms, tracking and the handover to your team.

We provide specific critical feedback on what needs fixing before paid traffic begins. Those changes may include a clearer service offer, stronger landing pages, working forms or a more reliable enquiry route. Once the agreed preparation is complete, we connect the required workflow and test it from enquiry to follow-up.

## Lead generation in the markets you can serve

We can prepare an individual proposal for a self-storage or moving business in any country and any language. Campaign scope depends on verified demand, the services you can deliver and the channels available in that market.

### Google Ads

We plan campaigns around relevant services and locations, with matching landing pages and quote routes. We set up agreed conversion tracking and review the quality of enquiries with the partner’s team.

### Meta and other social platforms

Facebook and Instagram campaigns can introduce the service, explain the process and reconnect with interested audiences where appropriate. Other available platforms may be included when the research shows a useful audience and a suitable way to reach it.

### Measure the whole journey

We review qualified enquiries, cost per qualified lead, response time, quote acceptance and completed bookings. Campaign and website changes are tested against the partner’s starting position. Better results are the objective; a specific volume of leads or return is established through testing, not assumed in advance.

## From research to a partner launch

1. **Understand your business.** We discuss services, locations, capacity, goals and how enquiries are currently handled.
2. **Research demand and competitors.** We examine the chosen market and use the findings to define priorities.
3. **Agree an individual proposal.** We choose between adapting BOXL and preparing your existing website, then define the CRM, brand and campaign work.
4. **Build and connect the customer journey.** We prepare the pages and forms, configure the CRM and test the agreed handovers.
5. **Launch the first campaigns.** We begin with the agreed channels and measurement, review lead quality and improve the setup using the results.

BOXL is a working website and demonstrable CRM foundation. Each partner’s local version is tested before launch, and its commercial performance is measured in that partner’s market.

## What we need from you

To prepare the setup, we ask for:

1. Your business licence.
2. Your business email address.
3. Your business phone number.
4. Your business address.
5. One introductory call.
6. Your consent to use your approved business information on the BOXL website.

The call helps us understand your services and any specialist requirements. We agree which information will appear publicly and what needs to connect behind the scenes.

## Entering the business? These are the questions I would ask

Some clients already run a storage or moving company. Others are considering an acquisition, a warehouse lease or a new launch. I can help the second group structure the opportunity before deciding what to build and how to market it. For an acquisition, these 24 questions provide a starting point for conversations with the seller and the relevant accounting, legal and property advisers.

### Financial performance

1. Does the EBITDA in the presentation reconcile with the profit and loss statement, and are any differences explained?
2. What explains the adjustments and assumptions in forecast EBITDA?
3. Is the owner’s work fully costed, and what would replacement management cost?
4. How has revenue developed, month by month and warehouse by warehouse, and what explains the changes?
5. How does operating cash flow reconcile with EBITDA, and what is outstanding in receivables?
6. Does revenue include VAT or other sales taxes?
7. Can the seller provide the latest completed months and supporting records?

### Lease and property

1. How much secure lease term remains at each warehouse?
2. What are the renewal, rent-review and break provisions?
3. Can the lease transfer, and is the necessary landlord consent documented?
4. What happens to the rent deposits at completion?

### Customers and capacity

1. What is occupancy by unit and by lettable area at each warehouse?
2. What is the realised price per unit and per square foot after discounts?
3. How many customers are active, and what do the retention cohorts show?
4. How many customers and how much recurring revenue leave each month?
5. What share of revenue comes from the largest customers?

### Investor payments and obligations

1. Are there investor repayments or other obligations, and how much remains payable?
2. Which obligations would transfer to the buyer or be settled at completion?
3. Are there other debts, guarantees, tax liabilities, claims or disputes?

### Operations and assets

1. Which licences and permissions does the business rely on, and can they transfer?
2. Are the applicable fire approvals and customer-goods insurance in place?
3. Will key employees stay, and what does the handover require?
4. Exactly which equipment, vehicles, systems, brand assets, domains and customer contracts are included?

### Price

1. Which verified earnings support the asking price, and what additional cash will the buyer need?

The answers help us define the services, customer proposition, operating requirements and launch priorities. Any decision on price or investment needs verified information from the actual business.

## Let’s discuss your local version

Tell us where you operate, which languages your customers use, what services you offer and whether you want to adapt BOXL or keep your current website. We will discuss the research and preparation needed for an individual proposal.

My team can bring the brand, website, CRM and acquisition plan together around your business. If you need a specialist service, feature or integration, include it in your message.
